Media Release: Heidi Salvemini Maintains Innocence and Calls for Responsible Public Discussion
ADELAIDE, South Australia — 2 August 2026. Heidi Salvemini today issued a statement strongly denying any wrongdoing and rejecting claims that have associated her name with unverified allegations contained in public document tranches.
Ms Salvemini maintains that she has no connection to Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, or any alleged network connected to them.
Ms Salvemini asks members of the public, media outlets, and online commentators to exercise discretion and avoid drawing conclusions from allegations that have not been tested, verified, or substantiated. She further encourages responsible research into the origins of the claim and the circumstances surrounding the woman in Port Pirie alleged to be responsible for making or advancing it before any judgment is formed.
“I categorically deny any wrongdoing. I ask that people allow facts, evidence, and proper investigation to guide their understanding, rather than speculation or repetition of unproven claims.” Ms Salvemini said.
Ms Salvemini reserves all rights in relation to any false, defamatory, or misleading statements made about her. She asks that any person with relevant information come forward through appropriate lawful channels.
